Austin → Phoenix → Delaware

Wittier began in Austin in 2018 as a newsletter called Podcast Weekly. After that came a product incubator, a year of building small internal tools for businesses that already had audiences but could not quite reach them. The pattern, every time, was email. Newsletters underused. Sponsorships underpriced. Lists treated like databases when they were rooms. By 2019 the work had a shape, and the shape had a name.

We believe the inbox is the last channel online where the address belongs to the reader. We believe small audiences who actually read are worth more than large audiences who only scroll past. Behind these beliefs sit thirteen years across advertising and media. Yelp early. Nonprofit software in the middle. The Hustle when it was inventing the standalone newsletter business. Then Frosty, where the work touched Burberry, the New York Islanders, Kendrick Lamar's PG Lang, and Gigi Hadid. Each room left a fingerprint on this one.

Today Wittier is two halves of one practice. We help publishers and founders monetize email patiently, with the reader at the center of the page. We operate a small set of media brands of our own, beginning with Suber Health in longevity. A construction publication and a dating publication follow. We work from Phoenix. The company is filed in Delaware. There is no rush. We are still here, still writing.
